Pakistani tea seller to start career in film industry

A dashing teenage tea seller in Pakistan who became an internet sensation is now set to begin a career as a film actor.
In October, Arshad Khan, supposedly 16 years old, created breaking news after a female photographer took his picture while strolling through an Islamabad market and posted it on her Instagram account.
Social media was immerse with his pictures and comments on his likeness to Bollywood stars and he was showered with modelling offers by the country's top brands. Now, he wants to get into acting.
"Khan has signed a film and shooting will start in January," the rising star's media manager Malik Faheem said.
Faheem said that Khan would be going to Dubai in January for the shoot. The movie would be filmed in Dubai, London and Pakistan, he said.
Khan has already appeared in two music videos and has walked the catwalk of a bridal show with some of Pakistan's top models, Faheem said.
Chaiwalas usually live a poor life in Pakistan, where they are a common sight on road corners and at markets. Khan, one of 17 siblings, has never gone to school.
